I have recently been involved with the music scene over the past few months in the Strait Area and I am shocked at the diverse talent we have right here. 

I have a connection to Nova Scotia that is a bit different than most people. My mother was born and raised here but I only visited her childhood home when I was about 6 years old.

Fall is a very interesting season in the strait area.  It could be full of snow from mid October, to tanning weather tell mid November.

Scotia Days is here!  Mulgrave has a festival every year at this time that is called Scotia Days… it’s something that everyone looks forward to, it’s a time where a lot of people that are away come home.  Now of course I believe that Mulgrave has the best festival in all of Nova Scotia, it’s when you have an overwhelming sense of community.

While I sit here watching my 5 year old nephew playing on the computer, my mind wanders back
