If you are reading this article, you are obviously visitng StraitAreaOnline.com. I would like to thank you for visiting this website and hope you get a chance to contribute to the site. I am always updating the site and will continuously be updating it so everyone in our area can enjoy some local stuff. Please comment, upload photos and have a look at our live cameras. Most of the website is accessible without registering which is free. Registering allows you access to user profiles, messages and a few other goodies like free listings in our buy and sell, properties online,vehicles online and our community bulletin board. Send a friend and e-card from our local ecard photos.
We will be running little contests like funny dog photo, cute baby and even some photo and video contests.
The next part of this website we are working on is community videos. We will be visiting different communities to film interesting news and events to share with everyone in the Strait Are. If you have any videos or are interested in getting us to video something to share with the community, please let me know so we can arrange something for you. Also, if you are interested in getting involved with doing a video show for this website, please contact using one of the many "Send us a Message" forms on this site. We will help you set up your own show and make sure it is posted here.

Hi Andrew,
What a GREAT website!!! A much-needed addition to the Strait Area and a super way to pull everyone together. Just because we're separated by a narrow body of water or a few streets doesn't mean we're not sharing this community. You and your skills and common sense are just what this area needs. This website is way better than facebook.
